Billing & Insurance
At RIA, we participate with almost all local and national insurance plans. However you should understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see, or the services you can receive.
If you provide complete and accurate information about your insurance, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier and receive payments for services. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance, or other deductible amounts. Most insurance plans allow the radiology provider to assist with the pre-authorization process.
To view a listing for most of the primary insurance plans we accept in Maryland and Virginia, please cick on Insurance Chart. We may also participate with smaller insurance plans that are not listed. Please contact our centralized scheduling department for assistance at 1-877-504-9729 for any questions you may have with your particular incurance plan.
Please note that when searching the Internet to determine if RIA participates with a particular insurance company, our name may be listed differently or under a different service with the insurance company versus the information you enter for your search. If you cannot confirm our participation with an insurance company, please contact our centralized scheduling department for assistance.
Our Customer Service and Billing departments are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm to help answer your questions.
On-line bill payment option is coming soon! We are working to make this available for patients before the end of February 2012.
